Dungeon Keeper handles roles for you! Assign roles or make them temporary, we'll manage it for you.
What you can do
Auto roles
Use /auto-role to set up the roles you want people to receive when they join the server.
Rejoin role restore
If someone leaves, this setting saves their roles and gives them back when they come back into the server.
Temporary roles
Give a role, mention a duration for it and let the bot handle it for you.
Reaction roles
The bot reacts to a message with defined emojis and members can react to them and receive specific roles.
Role restrictions
Some roles are not compatible and shouldn't be on the same user at the same time. Role restriction helps you keep things tidy and avoid headaches.
Questions
- Can the bot manage roles above its own?
- No. Discord only lets a bot manage roles below its own highest role. Dungeon Keeper also checks that the person running the command ranks above the role to avoid permission escalation exploits.
- Do temporary roles need manual cleanup?
- Nope, temporary roles are temporary. After whatever time you set it for, it'll be removed automatically.
